Venetian masks are traditionally made by hand in a number of different workshops in Venice with the technique of papier mache. wood pulp and resin used for the least expensive models. The masks are very light and comfortable to wear, however, are strong and durable. Each mask is custom painted and decorated with a variety of applications and finishes such as silver and gold lame, braids and lace edges, brightness, sheet music paper, pens best quality and glass 'jewels'. All our masks are designed to be used in the great tradition of masking, but equally impressive wall decorations.
